Back On The Road (4/7/06)
Taxes are done, bags are packed and I'm ready to go! GG Dolls promo tour starts tomorrow in Toronto. See ya'll on the road!

Next Tour (2/16/06)
Signed on with the G.G. Dolls today... so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming shows and tv appearances.... new single soon... and new album in April!

Goo (2/5/06)
Just got to give a shout out to all the cool fucking people in the Goo camp. Love working with ya...

Hello Neighbor!

Update (1/23/06)
So obviously, I have redisigned the site. Nothing special, I just needed to reorganize, it's been a couple years. Much of the content is still here, though I have designed this site with easy updates in mind.
This page is the old news page. I've attempted to go through it and remove any links that no longer will work, and update the links that should still work!
Should be a few more days before all the pages are complete. Then some minor animations in the menubar! Enjoy!

More Stuff (1/11/06)
Hope everyone made it through the holidays. Nothing special from here... nice and relaxed!
For those who care, there are a few new pics on the ME page (at the bottom).

More Holidays (12/18/05)
Happy holidays to everyone... Another year, though the most interesting yet. One for the books, if I could remember everything. Hope everyone continues to be safe in the new year... look forward to seeing you all again.

Over (12/1/05)
Another tour, more memories - many great memories. The museums, the monuments, the venues... Good times in Chicago & Boston... once again! Got to see Dad - always a bonus. The Pat McGee band, the crew, the boys, the shows, the antics, and all my new east coast friends, can't forget Bill the driver, etc... a one of a kind tour!

Next... one-offs - Beck, Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel - then back to the shop for a bit... then the f*ckin' holidays!

Almost Over (11/21/05)
In Kansas City for a day off. Reflecting on the tour a bit. Feels a bit strange. I've probably been more intoxicated on a consistent basis than ever before. I've put up with more "duh" situations than ever before. I've also had some of the best times ever - the crew and band guys were awesome - got to hang with all my good buds in Boston (John) and Chicago (Jordan, Adam, John, Josh, etc). Can't get a whole lot better in my book.

On tour (11/1/05)
In Washington DC - where the government messes up everything!!! However, it was pretty cool walking around the city and seeing some history, gaining some knowledge... visited some monuments and museums... good day off.

Working with some fucking cool people. Love my crew mates and the band... good folks. Met some cool fans as well... big shout out... you know who you are.

Next tour (10/12/05)
Just finished up with the Goo Goo Dolls until (possibly) December. Now in Tulsa, doing rehearsals with Hanson - tour starts on Sunday.

Don't swear (9/1/05)
Fuck... so everything got fucked up, and my buds pulled me thru! LMP got "postponed," then "cancelled." Niner got me in w/ Puddle o' Mudd. Buffa got me in with Hanson. I'm back with the Goos. And LMP wants to start back up. Four bands... not bad. Thanks everyone!

Back out in August (7/19/05)
We are currently scheduled to go back on the road late August. The tour should makeup many of the dates that were cancelled on the last leg.

Home, a place to clean and sleep (5/30/05)
I've been home for about a week. My body is still adjusting to being back. I should be on track by mid-week.
Twas an interesting tour. A lot of great shows, and a lot of drama - both good and bad. But in the end, it was all worth it... and I'm looking forward to doing it again! Back in the rehearsal studio mid-June.

It begins, again (4/21/05)
Three days and I'm on the road again. I'll see many of you again this year. Mostly summer stuff. Keep your eyes peeled for more LMP promo, and possibly a show near you!

Gearing Up - continued (2/13/05)
Dates have changed, things have shifted, but all is looking good. Hope to see a few of ya at HOB.

Best of luck to all my friends on the Ashley tour. After Britney, it should be a breeze!

Gearing Up (1/28/05)
Rehearsal dates for Lisa Marie Presley are confirmed. We start at the beginning of March and end on the 21st. A few TV shows, a few Canada dates, and then the tour of the states begin. I can't wait to hit the road again!

I've been keeping pretty busy with a bunch of in-town work. I just did CMT's Crossroads with John Fogerty/Keith Urban, a couple G Tom Mac shows, and a bunch of days with Roadtrip (the band that Nigel Sinclair plays in). Julian Coryell has also been nice enough to throw some work my way.

I just updated www.notworkingout.com with some pics [from pyro-Keith] of China - from the Backstreet Boys "reunion" tour.

Xmas Break (1/5/05)
Happy new year everyone. I'm back from Michigan. I had a great time (even with the low temperatures).

What's new? I just confirmed my position as guitar/keyboard tech on the LMP tour this year. It came down to Lisa or Aimee (both tours are a good time), and I went with tour length. It wasn't the money (as both pay about the same), but about how much work there was avaliable. Lisa tends to tour longer, thus, more work! I'll miss everyone in the Aimee camp, but I'm sure I'll be back. The LMP rehearsals start in February, tour starts in March, album drops in April! It's being said that this will be a world tour! I'm looking forward to going back to Europe and visiting Australia for the first time!

My space - I recently registered at myspace.com. Check it out: http://www.myspace.com/cirrusbonsai

Also, my previous mention of the IQ study may have been slightly off. It was found that the method used wasn't entirely accurate. But stupidity still reigns!

Xmas Break (11/25/04)
Thanks to my dad and Nancy, I'll be flying back to Michigan for Xmas. Prepare yourselves!:-)

To Whom It May Concern (11/25/04)
It was recently brought to my attention that a friend of mine in Michigan was a little upset that the "Friends" pictures are gone. So I threw together a couple pics into an animated GIF to help make up for it. Click here to check it out!

The Election (11/20/04)
A recent study out of Europe showed that communities with lower IQs tend to be more Republican, while areas with higher IQs tend to be more Democratic. Based on those results, it is apparent that there are a lot of stupid people in America. You could even argue that the majority of Americans are rather stupid.

Stupidity reigns.

On The Schedule (9/28/04)
Currently, I've got some work with "G Tom Mac" through October - looking like mostly San Diego stuff. I'm also researching some possible recording gigs as well as some teaching ideas... more later!

It's Been A While (9/25/04)
Wow! It's been months since the last update. Well, as you may know, the Britney tour was cancelled due to questionable circumstances! Luckily, the phone started ringing and I've been staying relatively busy with short tours and one-offs. The people: Aimee Mann, Meredith Brooks, G Tom Mac, Nigel Sinclair, The Zutons, etc... - I thank you all for your continued financial support!!!

European Tour (5/7/04)
I'm currently in Europe on the Britney tour. I'll be back home in June for about a week... then another tour in the states!!!

New Website (4/7/04)
I've started a new website - inspired by the crew of the Britney tour. The website is www.notworkingout.com, and will contain pictures of "stuff" that just isn't working out.

On The Road (4/6/04)
I'm back on the road - again. February marked the beginning of my employment with the Britney Spears tour. I was hired into the Backline Dept as the guitar/bass tech. We rehearsed all February and hit the road in March. The US leg ends on the 15th (April), then off to Europe on the 24th. Check out the tour dates at www.pollstar.com.

Happy New Year (1/5/04)
To my friends, family, and you people I don't know, Happy Holidays. On to the news - I've been working part-time at Brauer's to help make ends meet. I also did some tech work for "A Mighty Wind". I worked their shows in Seattle, Vancouver, and San Francisco. If all goes right, I should be back in the road in February.

Ah, back again... (10/16/03)
Back from the tour. Twas interesting. We worked. Fans liked. That's about it!

The gear list is getting large - check it out!

Happy Birthday Lorie!!!

Site Cleaning (8/20/03)
You may have noticed a few minor changes to the site. I revamped the "pics" and "music" areas of the site as well as tweaking all the side menus... same fonts, different rollover. I'm going to continue to tweak and hopefully upload some new pics.

Off The Road Again... (8/16/03)
Got off the road with LMP two days ago. A fun time. Possibly back out again in September.

While on the road I bought a Boss TU-15, a Peterson Virtual Strobe, an XBOX, 15 DVDs, 8 books, 3 lbs of Espresso Roast, 2 pair of shorts, 1 CD & a pair of shoes.

On The Road Again... (7/4/03)
It's been non-stop work the last few months. And I'm getting ready to hit the road again. If/when I get some time off, I'll update the site. Until then, enjoy!

Website Updates (4/13/03)
My web host is telling me that I'm using too much space and that I must delete some files. They're full of crap, for I still have 2Mb of space left; but in the meantime I'm going to delete some files to make them happy and avoid a penalty - thus some pictures and links might be missing.

Update (4/12/03)
Back from New York, taxes are done, sick as a dog... and busy as usual!

Page Updates (3/24/03)
Digicam - I took the Xmas '01 pics offline and put up a few new misc pics. Equip - I took down a few old pics and put up three new ones.

I've taken down the Cain Is Abel page and am working on a new page called "Projects". You can still find the Cain Is Abel info at www.cainisabel.com.

I've starting working on concepts for the CBO compilation artwork... not that anyone cares!!!

My Policy On Returning Phone Calls (3/10/03)
I'm freakin' busy people! If I don't return your phone call, no offense, but I don't have time to talk to you! If I do call you, be happy! Things should get back to normal in a week or so - and only then are you allowed to be upset when I don't return your phone calls!!!

Webpage Updates (3/10/03)
For those of you who haven't been to the site in a while, I've updated a few pages in the past couple weeks... the cbo page, the equip page, the webcam page, and a few touch-ups on various pics pages.

The Band (2/24/03)
As many of you now know, Cain Is Abel has broken up. Reason - basically, we are all moving in different directions, musically and personally. As of right now: I plan on working with Mathias in a strictly acoustic setting; I also plan on checking out some options for a new singer with Lance & Trevor. I'll keep you all updated on the progress of these projects.

Back In Town (2/15/03)
I'm back from the tour... and that's about it! Call me!

Site Update (1/11/03)
I'm playing catch up with the website updates and making some progress. There are new pics at the digicam page, the family page, and the friends page. Like all my picture updates, the newest pictures are at the bottom of the page (not the top).

I've also pulled some pictures to make room for new ones. Those of you who recieve my newsletter had access to some tour pics that I took; those pics have been removed as well.

Update (1/8/03)
Happy New Year! So what's happening you ask? Well, I'm currently in between tours. The last tour ended on Dec 16 and the next one kicks off on Jan 21st. It'll be mostly a southern states tour (the warm weather).

I recently got back from xmas in Michigan. I got to see my family and friends and enjoy a week of doing nothing!

I'm also finishing up some overdubs for our "Cain Is Abel" album. The rough mixes sound promising. We should have pre-production done by the end of the month.

The "Best of CBO" album has been postponed until I have more time to work on it. Stay tuned!

Back from the tour (11/24/02)
I just got back from the "2nd leg" of the Aimee Mann tour which lasted about three weeks. We started in LA, then Toronto, Chicago, St. Paul, Madison, St. Louis, Lawerence, Boulder, Seattle, Portland, San Fran, and back in LA again. I got a chance to visit with Family Groove Co and my good friend Lorie. I'll be going back out in December for two and a half weeks. Stay tuned to the site for pictures from the tour.

CBO - The Best Of... (11/1/02)
Just got done compiling [what I think is] the best original material from my 'main three' albums (Circles Of Life, Simulacrum and Headphone Music). You can find the track list at the cbo page and clips from some of the songs at the download page.

Update (10/27/02)
Going to finish up my guitar recording tonight, woohoo!
Tomorrow I turn 24, and I'll be working all day!
I'm constructing a site for a local band - plumm.com.
...and trying to get ready to go back out on the road!

Be sure to check out the 6 new pics at the bottom of the digicam page, and the 3 new pics at the gear page.

Update (10/14/02)
Just got back from a small tour with Aimee Mann. I served as the guitar tech and general backline guy. It was a great time and I'm looking forward to going back out in November and December. A big thanks to everyone in the Aimee Mann camp for giving me this opportunity.

During my time in LA, I'll be working for Andy Brauer and recording my guitar parts for the Cain Is Abel CD.

Update (8/22/02)
Busy as can be. Worked 40+ hours last week. We just got our demo CD from the duplicator. The press photo is done. Everything is moving along. Getting ready for Mathias' bachelor party and wedding. Lance is getting an 18-track hard disk recorder, so we'll be doing a fair amount of recording in the coming months.

More Pics Soon (7/28/02)
I have a bunch of pics on my hard drive and still in the camera which will be presented on "the three sites" in the near future.

"The three sites" are cirrusbonsai.com, cainisabel.com & familygrooveco.com.

Recommendations (7/28/02)
I have added a new page to this site containing my recommended listenings. Click here to check it out.

Friends (7/27/02)
My dear friends from Family Groove Company have left Los Angeles and are currently on they're way back to Chicago. They will be greatly missed as I try to figure out what to do with my spare time - what little I have!

Pic Update (5/10/02)
More digicam pics. This time, from work. Click here to see them or go to the digicam page and scroll down.

Pic Update (4/15/02)
I had the day off... so I had time to throw a few more pictures up on the site. There are some Easter pics and Star Wars Line pics. Go to the pics/digicam page and scroll all the way down.

Busy (4/6/02)
I'm now as busy as I can be. Working up at Brauer Rentals between 30 and 40 hours a week; the band is now practicing 3 to 4 times a week... and I'm trying to squeeze in some time at the Star Wars Line; then add all the typical stuff like laundry, bills, cleaning (which rarely happens), groceries, etc... Why am I typing this? ...If you're trying to get a hold of me via phone or email or whatever, and I'm not responding, it's because I'm freakin' busy. In fact, the only reason I have time to write this is because there is a pizza in the oven, which happens to be the first thing I've had time to eat today... and it is now done, so I will now go relax for 30 minutes and enjoy a pizza, and after that, back to getting $h!# done...

Chinese Line (4/4/02)
The line for Star Wars Episode II has begun. For more info, check out www.liningup.net.

Skywalker Ranch (4/1/02)
Just back back from the Faith Hill session at the Skywalker Ranch. I was the guitar/bass tech for the session. The drum tech (Matt "Toast" Young) and I took a U-haul (he drove) up to Marin County with all the gear on Monday night. We arrived early Tuesday morning (3:30am) and stayed on the property until Saturday morning. It was freakin' awesome!!!

Not Really An Update (2/18/02)
Busy as can be. Working, rehearsing, gigging...

Ahh, back again! (1/3/02)
I have returned to la-la land after a cold xmas in Michigan. It was good to see family and be 'home' again. However, I'm happy to leave the snowy grounds of the frigid mitten.
I did return with pics which can currently be found at the pics/digicam page. I took about 80 pictures - I went through them all, and picked out 21 that will do nicely. After some time, I will most likely transfer a select few to the 'Family' & 'Friends' pages.

Headphone Music (12/12/01)
The latest "Cirrus Bonsai Orchestra" album is complete and the first copy has been made. "Headphone Music" is a collection of my compositions from the past year. For more detail go to the CBO page.

Episode 2 Line (11/17/01)
You may have noticed that some of my pictures on the Star Wars page were from the Episode 1 line at the Mann's Chinese Theater. Well the plans are now under way for the Episode 2 line. Check out the website at www.liningup.net.

Cain Is Abel (11/16/01)
We just finished up the second stage of recording our album... which would be the drum, bass, guitar & vocal tracking. For more info, go to Cain Is Abel News.

Thanks (10/29/01)
I'd like to thank my awesome friends for a great birthday party and gift. We celebrated at Barney's Beanery and came back to my place where I quickly passed out.
They bought me a digital camera - which is freakin' great...

The Camera (10/29/01)
I would always scan my favorite photos - now, well - no more bad pictures, no more developing film; just plug it in and there they are. So with this new technology I have the ability to update my website(s) much more frequently. On this site you'll find a new page in the pics area called Digi Cam, which will contain all my digital camera pics; and on the Cain Is Abel site, you'll find up to date studio and rehearsal pics. Thank you and enjoy!

Starwoids (10/19/01)
Starwoids has been released on video and DVD. Go to www.starwoids.com for more details.
